Address to address, not just city to city
For Tirana–Durrës, Tirana–Elbasan or another route, enter the actual pickup entrance and destination. A city-centre pin is not a substitute for the hotel, home or business you are travelling to.
Check the route on the map before requesting. If it is not the journey you intend to make, correct the address or pin and review the summary again.
Check return trips and stops separately
The reverse direction is a separate request. Its fare may differ according to the direction and selected addresses. Do not rely on a quote from an earlier journey.
Add any stops before requesting and review the updated fare. An additional stop can change the conditions for a direct route.
Allow time for acceptance and travel
Plan for a driver near your pickup to be available and accept. A route displayed on the map does not guarantee a car at that time.
If you have an appointment, ferry or flight, allow for traffic and the arrival time required by the operator. Map estimates can change with road conditions.
During your journey
Check the driver, vehicle and number plate in the app. Use the trip chat to clarify your meeting point. You can share the active trip’s tracking link with someone who is waiting for you.
Pay the driver at the end using the payment method selected in your request. If you need help, keep the trip ID and contact support@hipo.taxi.
