GOOD TO KNOW
Before you go.
A few answers before your first ride.
Can I get Hipo on my phone?
Hipo is available for Android on Google Play and for iPhone on the App Store. Choose your phone’s store using the buttons on this page.
Do I need an account to check a fare?
No. You can choose a pickup and destination and check the fare as a guest. An account and the relevant verification steps are required when you request a taxi.
How do I know my ride was accepted?
Once a driver accepts, Hipo shows their details, the vehicle and its number plate. Rides depend on service availability in your area and a driver accepting your request. A fare quote is not a confirmed booking.
How do I share my trip?
Create a sharing link from your active trip and send it to someone you trust. They can open it in a browser without an account. Map updates depend on an internet connection and GPS availability.
