The centre, seafront and your hotel entrance
Place the pickup pin at the entrance where you are waiting, not just at the hotel’s general location. Near pedestrian streets or restricted stopping areas, choose somewhere a car can reach.
For hotels along the coast, check the town, street and map pin. Durrës centre, the beach area and Golem are different pickup locations. Your route should start at your actual address.
Arriving by ferry
If you arrive at the Port of Durrës, request a ride from a point where a car can collect you. Check the terminal exit and local access restrictions. Hipo does not promise vehicle access to controlled areas of the port.
Once a driver accepts, use the trip chat to agree on the meeting point. Match the number plate and vehicle to the app before getting in.
Travelling to Tirana or Rinas airport
For a journey outside the city, enter both full addresses. Check the return direction separately; a fare for one direction is not automatically the fare for the reverse route.
For a flight, allow time for acceptance, the driver reaching your pickup, road traffic and airport procedures. A fare quote is not a confirmed booking.
Before you set off
Check your route, selected payment method and any applicable offer. Pay the driver at the end in cash, or by POS terminal when available and selected in your request.
During an active ride, you can share a tracking link with someone waiting for you. They can open it in a browser without installing Hipo.
