Which side of the Osum are you on?
Mangalem and Gorica are distinct neighbourhoods around the Osum River. If your accommodation simply says “old town”, verify the neighbourhood and side of the river on the map.
Do not use a point facing your accommodation if the vehicle entrance is elsewhere. Two points looking close on the map does not mean the driver reaches them from the same side.
A hotel in the castle quarter or a narrow lane
For a stay in the castle area or a cobbled lane, ask your host where a car can arrive. If the last part requires walking, choose the meeting point before requesting.
When carrying luggage, coordinate with your hotel about the suitable entrance. Do not place the taxi pin on a staircase simply because it is nearest to your room on the map.
Leaving Berat for another city
For Lushnjë, Fier, Tirana or Rinas, enter where you intend to get out. A sightseeing stop on the way should be included in the request rather than assumed to be part of every ride.
